Transport and getting around

Getting around Biscarrosse and Grands Lacs

To move about the city, to get to the beach, to picnic with your family, or to enjoy a nice walk... There are many ways of getting around.
Public transport, cycling, taxi… it is easy to move from one commune to another, from the lake to the beach or from the beach back to town.

On bike
A network of bike paths allow you to discover Grands Lacs in complete safety. From Sanguinet to Parentis passing through Biscarrosse, you can also stop at the charming little village of Gastes. Think about soft modes of transport and hire a bike! Professionals at your service.

By bus
Public transport offers two regular bus lines from Ychoux (all year round) and Arcachon (July and August). The Biscabus lets you travel within the city, serving Biscarrosse City, the lake, and the beach.

By car
To rent a car at Biscarrosse and compare prices, go to Europcar or Sixt

By taxi

Contact a taxi company: there are several in the Grands Lacs area.
