Behind the dune, the beach. To observe the ocean, you just have to go onto the "green" dune that is especially designed for promenades… Preserved from all urbanization, a blond fine sandy beach stretches on 106 kms : this is the Landes coast !

Cleaned daily in summer and at least every 2 weeks in winter, this beach is uncontrollable and sees its morphology changing according to the tides.

Leasure activities for everyone..... You can practice the sailing kart, go surfing, play beach volley or just fly a kite. Kids’ clubs welcome the youngest. The early risers and the night-owls devote to fishing in the surfcasting. Special facilities for the handicapped persons. And for all the ones in need of a snack, beach restaurants propose dishes, sandwiches and refreshments.

Safety Information

The ocean can surprise even good swimmers. Around thirty Swimming instructors Rescuers take on the responsibility - during the widened season – for the swimmers’security in zones of marked out bathings. We deeply recommend you respect their advice and safety instructions.
